Storm Grant Bio

After tossing yet another commercial bestseller aside unfinished (and deepening the dent in the wall), Storm Grant declared, “I too can write this badly!”

Apparently she doesn’t write too badly after all. Just two years later, she’s sold stories to Haworth, Phaze, Freya’s Bower, Torquere, Lyrical, and MLR Press.

Her first novel, Gym Dandy, has now been contracted by MLR Press. Look for a Christmas release!

Her current WIP is a nearly-finished mainstream urban fantasy/paranormal romance novel: Shift Happens: A Change is as Good as a Quest. Fleeing through the rainforest, a feline-phobic publicist is forced to partner with a secret-operative-turned-jungle-cat to defeat a scientist funding his noble research by selling deadly drugs.

Storm is a Board member of the Toronto chapter of the RWA and a member of the From the Heart online chapter as well. She holds a degree in business and has spent three decades working in marketing and administration. Her writing experience includes commercial copywriting, as well as fiction. She lives in Toronto, Canada, with her husband and a miscellany of rescued pets and a rather messy house.
